Yesterday was a Monday that doesn't come around often in this lofty market we're in; The Dow closed down 588 points Monday, at one point being down by almost 1,100 points.  (It's never (yet) closed down over 1,000 points) S&P down almost 4% as well - the worst single day in over 4 years - almost 14 billion shares traded on the S&P alone so the volatility was off the charts compared to a regular sleepy Monday.
